Biography

I've been covering sports in Southwest Florida since the summer of 2005.

As sports editor of The Banner newspaper and www.the-banner.com, I welcome comments, input and suggestions in regard to sports in Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach.

If you see me at a game -- I usually have a camera dangling from my neck and a notebook jutting out of a back pocket -- feel free to introduce yourself. I'd rather be known as a friend on the sidelines than simply a member of the media.

Prior to my arrival in Lee County, I was editor of a weekly newspaper in Enfield, Conn. for seven years. I also spent 11 seasons watching future NHL, AHL and ECHL players as public relations director for a team in the Eastern Junior Hockey League.

As a fan, I cheer for my alma mater -- Arizona State University -- and long shots at Saratoga.
