Biography
After a hiatus of half a century, Bill has returned to his first love, newspaper writing.
The author of the bi-weekly column "Ciao!" and numerous news and sports articles, Bill's journalism aspirations were interrupted by a highly successful career in the life insurance business following his service in the Navy. He held progressively more important marketing and executive positions on his way to becoming his company's chief executive officer for 16 years prior to his retirement.
Since that event 10 years ago, Bill has been involved in numerous community and business activities including hosting a series of TV shows for the Insurance Broadcasting System.
Bill's early journalistic experience included sports reporting and broadcasting, writing a weekly sports column, working as a copy boy for a major New York City daily and serving as a correspondent for a leading news service.
