About Tommy Bahama's Tropical Cafe
Description
With its Casablanca-style décor and open-air dining, Tommy Bahama's is comfortable and inviting for everyone.
Don't miss the Big Island Goat Cheese appetizer. Served with mango salsa, herbed crostini and a sweet soy glaze, the warm macadamia nut-crusted sweet cheese was a delight.
Entrees are uniformly excellent. Trindad Tuna ($31) arrives perfectly prepared — the pan seared, cilantro-lemongrass crusted Ahi tuna, seasoned with sweet chili sauce and beautifully presented on island rice, topped with shaved ginger, and drizzled with cilantro oil.
The Island Cowboy ($34) is a grilled black angus tenderloin filet seasoned with a port wine demi-glace and garnished with fresh baby arugula, Maytag bleu cheese and roasted garlic.
The Tommy's Rib Rack ($29) arrives glazed with a blackberry brandy barbecue sauce that adds a zingy bite to the scrumptious grilled baby back ribs. Sides include fries and a fantastic Asian slaw.
For a superb treat, try the brown sugar and pecan-crusted pan roasted red snapper ($34), covered in sautéed carrots, cabbage and squash, and topped with a vanilla bean verblanc, or white wine butter sauce.
Desserts include tangy Key Lime Pie ($7), and a humongous fudge brownie with chocolate sauce ($10) that the heartiest appeties struggle with.
Limited reservations to Tommy Bahama's Tropical Cafe are available for dinner only.

Solid fun environment, good food, and casual atmosphere makes this a packed spot during the season, and it's busy off season as well!
Generally live entertainment evenings...this is "typical" Naples for those who seek anything from a "Cheeseburger in Paradise", to more serious fare as well, along 3rd Street and the Avenues!
Go there in shorts and shorts (or more) , and feel right at home with appetizers such as coconut shrimp, and try the entree's and drinks.

It's Tommy Bahamas- What can I say.. You have to just try it at least once, to say you went! Go shopping after you get a full tummy!

A grouper sandwich, slice of coconut cake, and a cold beer. It doesn't get any better than this anywhere. You gotta try it.

Abnormous portions for an absurb price(can one person really eat that much?), sub-quality food, noisy, crowded scene.
Tried it once, and that was once too often. Maybe it's me, maybe with the noise and chaos people think they are eating better food than they really are, I dunno. I don't get it.

Yes, it's noisy and crowded. Yes, you will probably have to wait for a table. But Tommy's is a Naples institution. Sit out on the patio and soak up the "island" atmosphere. The food's actually pretty good. I love the Mango Fandango Salad and the grouper sandwich. Good beer, too. (Hint: skip breakfast and go early for lunch; it's less crowded before 12 noon).

Tommy Bahamas is a must do experience in Naples. The atmosphere gives you that Island Life style with Great food, Great entertainment and a retail stores that carry everything from beach clothes to silk pants. The service I found was absolutely incredible from my experience at the hostess stand to grabbing drinks from the bar while waiting for my reservation. Eventhough my wait was an hour the time flew by while looking into the retail shops. Definetily a must do in Naples!!!
