There was lots of beautiful scenery, if they had a moment to check it out. Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve hosted the second annual Adventure Race bright and early Saturday morning. Starting from behind the Environmental Learning Center, about 50 entrants paddled three kilometers, and then did a 4K trail run across the footbridge spanning Henderson Creek.
