After reading the book “Take Your Best Shot: Do Something Bigger Than Yourself,” by Austin Gutwein, Ashleigh, a sixth grader at First Baptist Academy, was so inspired by its message that she decided to organize a 5K race to collect shoes for underprivileged children in Immokalee.
