Mitt Romney returned from a three-week spring break in 1965 to resume his studies as a high school senior at the prestigious Cranbrook School. Back on the handsome campus, studded with Tudor brick buildings and manicured fields, he spotted something he thought did not belong at a school where the boys wore ties and carried briefcases. John Lauber, a soft-spoken new student one year behind Romney, was perpetually teased for his nonconformity and presumed homosexuality. Now he was walking around the all-boys school with bleached-blond hair that draped over one eye, and Romney wasn’t having it.
“He can’t look like that. That’s wrong. Just look at him!” an incensed Romney told Matthew Friedemann, his close friend in the Stevens Hall dorm, according to Friedemann’s recollection.
Thursday, Romney apologized for pranks that "might have gone too far."
“Back in high school, I did some dumb things, and if anybody was hurt by that or offended, obviously I apologize for that,” he said in a radio interview.

Too bad the news story lacks the other salient details about how republican nominee Romney had the feminine kid pinned down by a wrestler buddy and actually forcibly cut his hair off with a pair of scissors. Assailent Mit could very well have been legally knifed or even shot if that happened today in Florida (as we have all witnessed here locally), especially if Mit attacked with those scissors in hand.
Also, when questioned, Mit doesn't actually remember the event however, but "if" he did, he's sure it wasn't because of any gay bigotry- so says ex high school bully Mit Romney.

I remember the first "fight" I ever got into. Standing outside the bus waiting for it to load up and take us students home. First day of the school year. Jr. High School (7th-9th). Fat kid twice my size, and even bigger than the kid he was laughing at and calling a "queer, f*a*g, etc." The kid was crying, bully pushed him, and before I even knew what had happened, I had punched the bully in the nose. Bully started crying, and bleeding. Great day, great memory.
To lie about it just shows what a coward Romney is, just like that school-yard punk.
