Lemon Bay High School volleyball player Amber Vines has signed a letter of intent with Ave Maria University.

Vines earned varsity letters all four years with the Manta Rays, who finished second in their district last year. She was named the team's MVP, and made the All-Area Team for three straight years. Vines will play right side and setter.

"She was one of the top recruits," Gyrenes coach John Leonard said. "She is a very well-rounded player that can step in right away and make an impact for next season."
