ORLANDO — The neighborhood watch volunteer who killed Trayvon Martin can be released from jail while he awaits trial on a second-degree murder charge.
A Florida judge on Thursday granted bond for a second time to George Zimmerman. Bail was set at $1 million.
Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester had revoked Zimmerman's $150,000 bond last month after prosecutors told the judge Zimmerman and his wife misled the court about how much money they had during an April bond hearing.
Prosecutors said a website Zimmerman created for his legal defense had raised $135,000 at the time of his first bond hearing. Zimmerman and his wife did not mention the money then, and Shellie Zimmerman even said the couple had limited resources because she was a student and he wasn't working.

Let's just make a deal with him...he can leave prison when the kid he killed can leave his grave.
That's fair isn't it?

Lucky for Zimmerman and the rest of the citizens of this country that our legal system doesn't work that way.
He hasn't been convicted of anything in a court of law yet, just in the court of public opinion by narrow-minded people like you.

Seriously loving this judge. If I were Z, I'd be sweating the whole "really, I'm not a liar" thing at the hearing where he's supposed to convince said judge that he was "reasonably in fear" before he took T out.

Is it breaking the law to follow someone who you believe to be suspicious? Is against the law to put a "beatdown" on someone when asked a question by someone who is involved in that community's watch program? Is it against the law to protect yourself when someone is beating the crap out of you simply because you asked him what they are doing in a neighbor hood who has had numerous crimes in the previous months? I believe Travon should have been cool, kept his hands to himself and answered Zimmerman in a polite tone he would be alive today. I think he chose to act all big and bad and now he's dead. It is a terrible shame for both. Based on what I have heard, read and watched I believe Zimmerman will be found NOT guilty.
NDNisLame writes:
I believe you have no idea what happened...
keekee writes:
I think the bail set for Casey Anthony, who as we all know did end the life of a truly innocent human, was only set at $500.000, right?
I’m afraid Mr. Zimmerman should just strap himself to that wooden stake, douse himself in gasoline, strike the match and get it over with because this blood thirsty crowd obviously will not accept anything less.
When are we going to stop allowing the media to create the story?
goodview writes:
No one really does. All we can base our beliefs on is what we have been told. Does not "innocent until proven guilty" still hold true in this country. Or should be rush the jails and prisons and hang everyone who we think deserves it. Is stealing a car today any worse then stealing someone's horse a 100 yrs ago? The folks back then hung/hanged/whatever alot of horse thieves without benefit of a trial. Either way, this is just a dang sad story

No, not at all.
But, whether you agree or disagree with the verdict in his murder trial, he was found "not guilty" (as opposed to "innocent", which is something entirely different).
Whether you like it or not, that's how our legal system works. And, it protects people like Zimmerman from vigilantes like you.
Until we come up with something better (which isn't likely), it's the only system we have, like it or not.
In the meantime, liberal extremists like you are welcome to continue picking and choosing how we apply our laws in accordance with your political beliefs.

Oh, now I see. When you are said to be not guilty, that doesn't mean you'er innocent, right? Yes sir (or ma'am) that's perfectly clear speaking "conservatively". Say, would you call the Obama haters, "VIGILANTES"?
goodview writes:
Typical, throw race into. I did not say or imply "Uppity". And yes, if a person asked a question either answer it or don't. But you just don't open a can of azzwhoop because you don't like the question. Nor do you shoot someone because you didn't like the answer or lack of one. Has not a thing to do with obeying anyone. And FYI- we ALL answer to someone. I don't care what color you are or where you live.

This is correct but it doesn't support the liberals anti-Stand Your Ground agenda.
In all States you have the right to Self Defense if you are brutally attacked like Zimmerman was.
Apparently, the liberals have a problem with that too..
http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-...
he retains traditional self-defense if he reasonably believed his life was in danger and his only recourse was to employ deadly force.
Thus, if Zimmerman verbally provoked Martin, but Martin then got on top of Zimmerman and banged his head into the ground, broke his nose, bloodied his eyes and persisted in attacking Zimmerman — and if Zimmerman couldn’t protect himself from further attack except by shooting Martin — he would have the right to do that. The prosecution has already admitted that it has no evidence that Zimmerman started the actual fight.

When he (Zimmerman) is found innocent, that yo yo judge should be relieved of his position, disbarred (cuz you know he is a POS attorney and playing politics), and sent to the slug gulag. He has no more business being a judge than Roberts does.

you may want to look at the link i posted a few up, it shows someone, with a flashlight, like Zimmerman said he had, walking around looking for something/someone, there are multiple cameras showing this.
it's going to quite the hoot when he is found guilty....lol
