Red Sox holding tryouts for spring training PA announcer Tuesday

A tour of the new Red Sox spring training ballpark

Hodges University will host a talent search to find the new voice of the Boston Red Sox for spring training on Tuesday in Fort Myers.

NBC-2 and the Red Sox will hold auditions at the Hodges Fort Myers campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the tryouts. The campus is located at 4501 Colonial Boulevard at Winkler in Fort Myers.

One person will be chosen by the Red Sox to become their PA announcer at all 2012 spring training games at the new JetBlue Park. For more information, call (239) 939-2020.
