The GOP and the movies
Now that the Florida primary is over, I have to ask a question or two.
This primary season reminds me of a couple of movies from a while ago. Is the Republican Party (my party) more like the movie "Cybil" or "The Exorcist" — as it seems "we" have more than one personality? Or is there an unknown demon within this party that needs to be removed? With Newt Gingrich's non-concession speech, it made me think "we" have a problem.
Oh no! Or is it a third movie "Apollo 13"? You remember, "Houston, we have a problem"?
Now in "Apollo 13" everybody worked together to bring this craft safely back to earth.
Could not we learn something from anyone from the aforementioned movies?
You see, Cybil, after a lot of hard work, got better. The child in "The Exorist" got better after hard and selfless work; and "Apollo 13," using a joint effort, returned safely to earth.
Yes, I believe with hard, selfless and a dedicated joint effort, we can get better than we are now.
Changing the House around every two years, certainly hasn't worked.
Oh no! A fourth movie just came to mind: "The Miracle Worker."
Yes, there it is; we need many a miracle worker, as too many are blinded by politics and cannot communicate in an effective manner.

Yes there is Robert. It's called the JESUS CULT.
Either up front or behind the scenes; every issue in the GOP is strained through a RELIGIOUS FILTER.
The Evanagelists who control the GOP are obsessed with anti abortion, planned parenthood, marriage amendments, creationism, and prayer.
Even if you HAD a qualifying candidate in the Republican Party; these LIMITING FACTORS set by the Jesus Cult would prevent him from rising to the surface.
The GOP is dead. Murdered by god.
