So what?

David Moulton's Jan. 25 opinion about the Boston Bruins' Tim Thomas' refusal to attend President Barack Obama's ceremony honoring his team's Stanley Cup victory seems to be out of the liberal playbook.

David, you're a great sports writer, and I read your column every time you write.

But you are employed by a uber-liberal newspaper and your comments about Thomas are "party line."

So what if what Tim said on Facebook is political. His statement is all true.

More high-profile athletes should do what he did.
