Ranger-led tour of Koreshan Historic Site

Description

Rangers lead weekly tours of Koreshan, a state park and historic site.

Koreshan, a nationally recognized historical site, was originally settled in the late 1800s as a utopian community. The site offers RV and tent camping, canoeing on the Estero River, a playground and nature trails. Parking fee is $4 per car.

My wife was really impressed with our Ranger tour guide, as he explained the settlement, as he spit out his chew.

The tours from 1/1/12 to3/30/12 are at 10 AM and 2 PM daily. Currently, most of the tours are conducted by volunteers and they are AWESOME!
