The labor market in Southwest Florida has changed remarkably over the last 18 months.
In addition to rising unemployment, there is a growing percentage of workers in Southwest Florida who are underemployed – working involuntarily less than full time or have had a mandatory job furlough.
Navigating successfully within the current economic environment takes more conscious effort, diligent planning and preparation than ever before. How to find and keep a job is something everyone should be spending some time thinking about and working on.
Whether you are currently unemployed or even if you are currently employed, focusing on the actions you need to take and skills you need to achieve your employment objectives will be my focus.
