Immigration Reformer

My aim is to raise awareness of the necessity of immigration reform. Born in Britain but raised in Virginia with her English mother and U.S. Marine step-father, Nina returned to England with her mother at age 16. The twice married mother of four spent 15 years doing secretarial/personal-assistant work for various organizations before starting her 20-year career in the Prison Service, all the while longing to return to her beloved America. Nina was adopted by her now deceased step-father, but not naturalized, which has meant the realization of her dream to bring her family to live in America has been fraught with difficulties. With no relative to sponsor the family, the only alternative was investment but, although Nina employs U.S. citizens and pays taxes, she and her family have no path to permanent residence. With other E2 investors, Nina formed E2Reform.org to fight for changes in the law that would allow foreign investors, whose businesses are successful, to be considered for permanent residence.
